Diwali Bash!!!

Hello guys!

Sorry for not updating my Prepโ€™s for Diwali! Got some probโ€™s in updating itโ€ฆ Will update it soon!

This post is especially for Diwali bash at our homeโ€ฆ The whole day of Diwali is been given in this postโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ™‚

Once when the day has arouse i was lateย as-usual but its none other like the normal days… Its DIWALI!!!

I just got up from my bed and took oil bath and had a quick dry up and was ready for a visit to the nearby Temple ๐Ÿ™‚ Meanwhile my sisters got ready too and I was excited how the day is gonna move ๐Ÿ™‚ We were wearing our Diwali Dresses though ๐Ÿ™‚ We started to temple around 6.30 A.M and drove for a 15 mins and reached the temple…

For our disappointment we could find only a very few lazy guys like us wandering around the temple and there was no pandits as its been late they have completed their pooja’s and went back ๐Ÿ˜ฆ So we just had a quich prayer without any rituals and had to return half-heartenย which made me a bit upset too…

Coming home after a disappointed darshan i had to visit my Uncle’s home ย which is quiet far from my home. So we three sisters had the breakfast with Idly, 2 type of Chutney, Sambar, and Sweet Pongal (Traditional food for each festive breakfast). Then with fewย munchiesย with Muruku and Laddu we had to finish our breakfast and got ready to move for our uncle’s home at 10.30 A.M.

Its really a hard experience travelling around on Diwali day as we could find everyone bursting crackers on streets and need a very careful attention on each of our move in making sure there is no cracker on the road. Ufff! After a big troubled driving for 25mins we reached our uncle’s home and gave our sweets and murukus to them had few of their sweets with chit-chatting and alas! it started raining… The rain lasted for about 2 hours which kept us locked in our uncle’s home itself…

When the rain slowed down we started back to home. It was more difficult to ride in wet surface when there is a pile of sand onย theย road side. In such a difficult turn we got slipped off and had a fall ๐Ÿ˜ฆ My sisters were not injured but on the other side i was injured so bad that i cant even move my legsย due to the heavy weight of my scooty which was on my leg. A few people rushed in to help us as my sisters canโ€™t lift up the vehicle. They helped me out and my legs were trembling with pain and fear. I was keen inย inquiringย my sisters if they are ok. After few minutes of rest we started back home which a few streets was nearer. With much of strain I managed to drive back to home without any problemsโ€ฆ

It was a bad Diwali i thought… After reaching home i got tons of scoldings from my parents and had a pain killer and an injection in the nearby doctor’s house. I had to take a complete rest for the whole day. But how could i?? Its Diwali and i have to watch out many newย program’s that is been telecasted. But failing in my arguments i had a cup of juice and went for sleep till evening 5 P.M…

With few snacks i started watching the programme and by the end of 7 P.M its time to celebrate our Diwali with Crackers! My sistersย compelled me to come out and crackle few crackers. But due to heavy pain on my leg i was not able to crackle but i enjoyed watching my sisters andย neighbors and their kids enjoying the day ๐Ÿ™‚ I have added few shots of this Diwali Cracklings ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Finally got back home to watch over theย program’s around 9 P.M and one of my sister suddenly had a feeling of applyingย Mehendi…ย ย So i had to apply her Mehendi just a little which soothed her as she started crying when i said am tired and can’t apply…

This was taken on the next Morning

Then had our dinner with Non-Vegetarian foods like Fish fry, Chicken gravy with rotti’s andย chapatis.

Thus my Diwali ended up with a messy as well as quiet enjoyable one ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Note: Since it was raining the whole night i was unable to put Rangoli’s which was one of the most saddest part of this Diwali :(. The clarity of my mobile might be quiet less during night time so do adjust with the picture clarity ๐Ÿ™‚

A heavenly trip …

I had a chance of visiting ma grandmaโ€™s home which is a typical village where we can find all sorts of old customs. I loved being there though I had some different experiences. I was used to city traditions of doing things from morning till evening. But when you go to such kind of villages you might feel surprised and some kind of nostalgic feeling. Itโ€™s because there are lots of things that turns you on from our lifestyle. Let me list it down:

  1. I was used to get up around 7 am in my place. But there people used to get up early morning at 5 am and begin their routine works. Kinda difficult for me coz those people doest stop by themselves getting up, they force us to get up too ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
  2. ย I havenโ€™t seen the sky so beautiful and felt the fresh air touch my skin making me feel so energetic in my place. I used to come out of ma home only after 9. Its weird actually but this is what happens to most of the people living in cities.
  3. I saw greeneries wherever I turn around in village. So much pleasing to eyes watching plants and the due drops on the leaves and flowers and the tiny plants that took up its head for a new beginning. Nature is really lovely ๐Ÿ™‚ . In ma place greeneries are only seen in televisions rarely ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
  4. What the hell is this??? I cannot see houses as far as I could see. During night time I was just freaking out by the solitude home stay and the weird sounds of frogs and many other unknown creatures. I was hell-stuck in the night time and for sure I havenโ€™t slept even a single minute. But that was quiet a different experience in daytime as I started enjoying the solitude staying. Coz in cities we could see houses build clustered and roads congested. But itโ€™s totally a different world out here.
  5. The best and final thing is the people out there. Where are they from?? So much of love, care and affection from each and every single people I look at though we are not related to each other. Their innocent and childish hearts attracted me and I felt sad leaving that place.

I had a bit of experience for being in a heaven though it was for just a single day. Am not sure whether I would go to heaven after my death but am sure I had experienced how staying at heaven would feel like.

Below are few shots I took with my mobileโ€ฆ

This was the first shot i took when i got up at 5.30 am…

This is the grass you can see which was around the house…

This was the side view of a beautiful sunrise from the house…

These are the coconut trees that are grown before the house… Cute nah ๐Ÿ™‚

Its the Watermelon !!!

Its the watermelon plant grown over the roof ofย theย store room…

This is the picture i took at 6 am… Can you find the difference between half an hour before sunrise and after sunrise? Such a lovely scene ๐Ÿ™‚

Finally i have to say you all one simple yet valuable thought… Please do visit yourย grandparentsย in villages which might take you to heaven and also make them happy ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
